Mexico In-Country Representative

Ricardo received his M.S. in Environmental Engineering on the Sustainable Water Treatment and Climate Change Impacts track from Columbia University. He grew up in Northern Mexico, where water depletion, biodiversity loss and deforestation inspired him to get involved with the environment. He is a firm believer that human ingenuity and spirit will find the solutions to the most pressing environmental problems. As a civil engineer and  an independent consultant, he is interested in the meeting point between sustainability and  progress. He envisions a world where technology and innovation allow nature conservation with an economic and social value.
